2023 is the 95th season for American Legion Baseball in Wisconsin.  Registration will begin on January 1 with a deadline of May 15th, with online registration at www.legion.org/baseball.

Over 220 teams have participated in Wisconsin American Legion Baseball in the past and we look forward to having new teams adding to those numbers in the upcoming season.

Teams can begin play as soon as registration is completed and WIAA rules allow and culminate with State Tournaments in 5 classes of competition.

The Jrs. Tournament will be held on July 21-25 with Waupun hosting the 16u and Wisconsin Rapids hosting the 17u Tournament.  The Srs. Tournaments for Class A and AA will be held July 28-August 1 with Prairie du Chien hosting Class A and Ashwaubenon hosting Class AA.  The Class AAA Tournament will be hosted by Marinette July 25-29 and the top 2 teams will advance to the National Regional with a chance to advance to the American Legion World Series in Shelby, NC.  State Tournament qualifiers are determined by the winners of the 7 Regional tournaments in each class held 1 week prior to the State Tournaments.

2023 will be the 51st year of the American Legion Baseball AllStar Game hosted by the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field following the Brewers game in August.  Players and coaches will be introduced on the field in the Brewers pregame festivities. Wisconsin is the only state that has its AllStar Game in a Major League ballpark, and we thank the Milwaukee Brewers for their continued support of American Legion Baseball.

Participants in Wisconsin American Legion Baseball are eligible for scholarship consideration from the state and national organizations.

Since 1925, The American Legion has sponsored a nationwide youth baseball program. During these past decades, millions of young players have enjoyed playing baseball. The American Legion and their 2.8 million members have raised millions of dollars each year for players to learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, leadership and good sportsmanship. The American Legion sponsors American Legion Baseball to give players an opportunity to develop their skills, personal fitness, leadership qualities and to have fun.
